Apprenticeship Requirements
Projects subjected to California Prevailing Wage regulations (whether solely California, or blended with Federal Public Works) are subjected to the apprenticeship requirements if over $30,000 project total. Contractors must comply if there are working in an apprenticeable craft. There are two required forms: DAS 140 and the DAS 142.
|
***I understand that I must complete the DAS 142 Dispatch Request Form for CCS to be able to complete the DAS 142 form.
Failure to submit the DAS 142 Dispatch Request Form will alleviate CCS of any liability of compliance for those documents.
Project total is the total cost to the project owner. Not the individual contract totals.
Sole-proprietors may have an exemption if they do not have worker's compensation and file taxes as a sole proprietor.
Job-site Postings
Ensure that you have the job-site postings as required by Public Works projects. There are different regulations depending on the type of funding/administration of the project.
|
** Contractor Compliance, LLC will not monitor if a client in compliant with this regulation. It is the client's responsibility to ensure their postings are up-to-date and in compliance. Contractor Compliance, LLC can answer specific questions if needed.
